Agile has become corporate malpractice. The reign of the Sovereign Architect-Engineer begins.
An open-source, team-of-one methodology for the AI era. It sets out to empower a single individual with deep technical-architecture and domain knowledge to design, code, test, and deploy enterprise-grade software end to end — by orchestrating digital context rather than managing human headcount.
The point of view
Most “AI coding” advice optimizes the wrong layer: it makes a single engineer type faster inside a process built for twelve people. The SAE thesis is sharper.
The cost of code, infrastructure, and boilerplate has collapsed toward zero. The bottleneck is no longer execution — it is human clarity.
When syntax is free, leverage moves to structural systems thinking, precise bounded-context definition, and clear specification. The person with the deepest domain insight and the sharpest architectural vision — not the largest team — wins. SAE is the operating system for that person.
It is deliberately an opinionated framework. It makes bold claims on purpose, and it names its own limits honestly, because a method that can’t tell you where it breaks isn’t a method.
What’s in it
- The playbook: the full framework on the wiki, plus a one-page summary
- The mobile app: an installable PWA carrying the playbook, the SAE Test, and a cheat sheet, fully offline
- A presentation kit: offline deck, infographic, and an interactive map
